| My name is Jingqiao Zhao, translator and proof reader, native speaker in Spanish and Chinese. My working language pairs are English, Spanish, French and Catalan-into-Chinese and from English, Chinese, French and Catalan-into-Spanish. I have a BA in Translation and Interpreting from English and French into Spanish (Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, 2008) and a Master´s degree in Audiovisual Translation (Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, 2009). My fields of expertise are audiovisual translation, tourism, business, software & webistes and quality assurance. As of today, I have 9 years of experience in the translation and localisation industry. As for localisation, I have worked for Softonic International for two years in Barcelona localising and testing their website, software and mobile apps in 10 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Polish and Dutch. I am very familiar with the IT and Internet field, I have also localised many iPhone and Android applications. Some of the agencies that I work for are Subbabel, Imaginables, 36 Caracteres, Accurate Translations or TranslatePlus. Other areas that I translate are subtitling, commercial, economic and legal texts.
